Jour # 2

      Aujourd'hui, nous sommes allés faire un tour de la Citadelle. C'était très intéressant d'entendre l'histoire de mur de fortification du Québec et de leur armée. Au sommet de la Citadelle, nous avons vu une belle vue sur Québec et la rivière Saint-Martin. C'était très beau!
      Comme je suis complètement immergé dans le pays, je suis obligé d'apprendre la langue. Dans un premier temps, j'ai eu vraiment peur. Il est encore intimidant, mais je suis d'apprendre à adapter. J'ai remarqué que l'accent au Canada est différent de ce que j'ai appris à Cincinnati. Ils disent oui avec un accent différente de la français. Je suis toujours un moment difficile de parler français mais je suis en train de mon mieux!



     Today, we went to take a tour of la Citadelle.  It was really neat to hear the history of Quebec's fortification wall and of their military.  At the top of la Citadelle, we saw a great view of Quebec and the St. Martin's River.  It was beautiful!
     As I am completely immersed in the country, I am forced to learn the language.  At first, I was really scared.  It is still intimidating but I am learning to adapt.  I have noticed that the accent in Canada is different than what I have learned in Cincinnati.  They say yes with a different accent than the French.  I am still having a hard time speaking French but I am trying my hardest!
